Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Procurement to lead and manage the procurement of materials for Water Supply and Irrigation EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong domain expertise in Water Supply & Irrigation projects and will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and timely sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Water Supply & Irrigation Procurement Management
- Vendor Identification, Development & Evaluation
- RFQ Management, Tendering & Commercial Negotiations
- Contract Finalization & Procurement Documentation
- Logistics & Delivery Coordination
- Project Procurement Support & Inventory Planning
- Cross-Category EPC Procurement
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong domain expertise in Water Supply & Irrigation projects
- Proficiency in vendor management, negotiation, and cost control
- Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP platforms
- Sound understanding of contracts, logistics, and supply chain coordination
- Analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Education:
- Mandatory: B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Preferred: MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management
