Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. As a Hydraulic Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing water supply, sewer systems, rising mains, and hydraulic structures. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze water supply, sewer systems, rising mains, and hydraulic structures
- Conduct hydraulic modeling using tools like WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, EPANET, SWMM, or HEC-RAS
- Prepare technical reports, BOQs, DPRs, and drawings per BIS & CPHEEO standards
- Coordinate with CAD/GIS teams for design and documentation
- Support planning, feasibility studies, and master planning for urban water systems
- Liaise with clients and authorities for design approvals and permits
- Provide construction-phase support including RFIs, drawings, and site inspections
- Ensure quality and risk management across project stages
Requirements:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Environmental Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred)
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in municipal water/sewer design
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS platforms (ArcGIS/QGIS)
- Familiarity with CPHEEO Manual, AWWA, BIS, and global design standards
